1.What we hold when you connect a Meta account
When a business connects its Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp Business number to Cevanos, we keep:
- The connection. The access token Meta issued, stored encrypted, and the account's id and name.
- Conversations. Messages exchanged with the business through that account, and the contact details that came with them.
We use them only to answer the business's customers on its behalf. The Privacy Policy has the full detail.
2.Stop Cevanos using your account
Either of these stops us reaching the account straight away. You do not need to do both.
2.1In Cevanos
- Open your agent's Channels screen.
- Click Manage on Facebook Messenger, Instagram or WhatsApp.
- Choose Disconnect and confirm.
2.2In Meta's settings
- Facebook. Settings and privacy → Settings → Business integrations → select Cevanos → Remove.
- Instagram. Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → select Cevanos → Remove.
- WhatsApp. In WhatsApp Manager, open your business account's settings → Partners, and remove Cevanos.
Meta tells us when you remove Cevanos, and we stop acting for that account.
3.Ask us to delete your data
- Email info@cevanos.ai with the subject Data deletion request.
- Say which Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number it is about, and, if you have one, your Cevanos workspace name.
- If Meta gave you a confirmation code, include it.
We confirm we have the request, check it comes from the account's owner, and delete the stored token and the conversations received through that account within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to, such as billing records, and tell you what that is.
4.If you messaged a business that uses Cevanos
The business you wrote to decides what happens to that conversation, so ask them first. We will help them answer you and delete it on their instruction. You can also write to info@cevanos.ai and we will pass your request to them.
